Meet our Discipleship Group Leaders
Ryan Williams
Our Discipleship group is fairly new to Crossway Church, but in our short time as a group we have grown close and built some lifelong friendships. Our group ranges from young 20’s to young 40’s but is primarily filled with parents of babies and young children. We love to fellowship and hang out outside of normal church activities so we usually plan a few fellowship nights where we just get together and enjoy a meal and a good time of community. In our small group, we focus primarily on God’s Word and always go back to the truth no matter if we’re doing an expository Bible study, or a spiritual book of some sort. We encourage group discussion, and love to laugh. We usually have a few babies in attendance so we’ve learned to be flexible and really just enjoy each others company as we aim to grow closer to the Lord each time we meet.

Our D-Group is a fun loving group that studies the Bible together so that we may grow closer to our Lord. Most of us range from 30-45 years old, and have kids from babies to teenagers. Whether its a study of classic or contemporary issue, our common struggles help us connect, and we challenge each other and work together to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Lord. We also have a great time of fellowship and enjoy each others' company in many light hearted sparring matches about things like the moon landing, the earth's shape, and society's future. However, all the fun joking we have comes back to our group's sincere love for the Lord.

Normally we do not eat a meal together except on special occasions such as Christmas or Thanksgiving. We meet at a member’s home, and we watch a 30 minute video following that with discussion on how it can apply to us for the remainder of the time. Most people in our group have children and grandchildren, but we also welcome any age group to have a more diverse multi-generational discussion.

Our d-group is made up of senior citizens, age late 50s to early 80s. Most of us are retired, but a few are still working full time and a few part-time. We enjoy watching videos of speakers such as Robert Jeffress, Tony Evans, David Jeremiah, and Erwin Lutzer, to name a few. After the video is over, we discuss it and how it affects us today. As a group, we are sensitive to the needs of each individual in our group and strive to meet them, especially if the need involves health issues. As a senior dgroup, we realize that our journey on earth may be in the final stages, but we are determined to be as obedient as we can to our Lord Jesus Christ. Meeting as a group helps us be more supportive of each other as well as more aware of others' needs outside of our group.

Our D-group is a genuine treasure. The group consists mostly of retirees. However, there are a few who have not yet crossed the hurdle to retirement. But, what a group. It is more than just a gathering—it is a tapestry of lives woven together by faith, shared journeys, and the earnest pursuit of Truth. This humble, special group has become a sanctuary for those seeking connection, understanding, and the transformative power of the Scriptures. These people have committed themselves to exploring life’s most profound questions, all while building friendships that endure beyond the confines of weekly meetings. At the heart of this D-group lies a deep commitment to fostering genuine relationships. Here, lasting friendships are not merely a by-product; they are an intentional pursuit. Over the past three years, we have studied Biblical citizenship, what happens moments after you die, and true discipleship. My passion for this D group is to eat with them, laugh with them, pray with them, and study GOD’S Word with them.

We are a group of men and women seeking to further our faith by growing in God's Word together. We enjoy eating and fellowshipping together as well as God. We meet together to eat and then separate as ladies and gentlemen to pray and study. We have both married and singles that come. We encourage you to come and be a part of our fellowship.

Looking for a place to belong? Looking for a group to connect with and grow deeper in your walk with the Lord? Come check out our group! Our D-Group is a group of adults with a wide age range from people in their thirties to people in their sixties. We have lots of laughs and a great time studying God’s Word together. In the past, we have studies things like “How to Develop a Powerful Prayer Life,” “How to Deepen Your Faith.” We’ve also studied the Book of James, the Armor of God, and most recently we focused on the Beatitudes in the Book of Matthew. Our group loves fellowship! We have a meal together each week before diving into our study. We love doing life together and sharing our thoughts on various spiritual topics and bouncing ideas off of each other. As we grow and deepen our faith, we love to rejoice in the victories that we see the Lord doing in our lives as well.
